When you load a show file Chameleon automatically changes to [[Playback Mode]] so you can't accidentally modify the show file.

There are still a number of additional things [[ToDo/Load | ToDo]] with Load, for instance loading a show file!

!!! Importing the channel configuration

You will probably find that in a lot of cases your channel configuration does not change, even though the rest of the show does. The import channel configuration option allows you to import the configuration from either a [[save#save | saved]] show file, or an [[save#exportPatch | exported]] patch file.

To import a channel configuration simply select File -> Import -> Channel Configuration from the menu. You will be presented with the open file window, where you can select either show or a patch file.
